Circuit code is broader than sensor

Power, ground, signal amplitude and timing plausibility all matter. A cam sensor cannot create its own missing reference voltage or repair a connector with weak terminal tension.

Test the circuit under load and during the heat or vibration condition from freeze data. Static continuity can miss an intermittent open.
