On applicable Wrangler 3.6L Pentastar systems, P06DD means commanded dual-stage oil-pressure operation did not produce the expected response. It can arise from low/wrong oil, an incorrect or collapsed filter, filter-cap/housing faults, sensor data, wiring/control-solenoid trouble, restricted passages or mechanical pump failure. Begin with oil/filter part and housing inspection, then compare mechanical pressure with desired/actual data at specified temperature and rpm. P0520/P0522/P0523 must be addressed because bad feedback can make a functioning pump appear wrong. Do not replace the pump solely from P06DD.
