A generic P2647 description points to a high rocker-arm pressure-switch circuit state, but Pilot J35 service information normally organizes VCM oil-pressure faults by bank with codes such as P3400/P3497. Confirm the exact raw DTC, module and VIN with Honda-capable data before borrowing a four-cylinder repair. Bulletin 13-021 does not include Pilot. If Honda data confirms an applicable high-state circuit fault, graph VCM command and switch feedback, load-test the signal circuit, check oil condition, and determine whether hydraulic pressure fails to release. Open wiring and trapped pressure can look identical to the PCM.
