WHAT P0300 MEANS

P0300 means multiple Q5 cylinders misfired or no cylinder dominated. Preserve P0301–P0306 counts, bank trims, temperature, load and fuel pressure. A 2.0 TFSI cold-start or boost misfire, a 3.0 TFSI bank pattern, and a 3.0 TDI combustion fault require different tests. Gasoline engines use labeled plug/coil and injector checks; TDI has no ignition coils. A flashing MIL on gasoline engines means reduce load immediately to protect catalysts.
