The 16-N·m screw is only a locating fastener
The small countersunk screw holds the disc against the hub while the wheel is off. Final braking and wheel clamp loads do not pass through it in the same way they pass through caliper hardware and wheel bolts. Tightening it to a large wheel or carrier value can strip the hub or make future removal difficult.
Clean corrosion from the hub contact face, seat the disc without debris underneath and use a new retaining screw where BMW directs. Excessive rust scale creates runout that torque cannot correct. Check disc runout and minimum thickness by the complete brake procedure.
Guide, carrier and wheel fasteners are separate jobs
The cited Teves example lists 30 N·m for its covered guide screw, but that is not permission to use 30 N·m on every 328i caliper. Front versus rear, caliper supplier and brake option change hardware.
